A female pedestrian died earlier this month after she was struck by a hit-and-run driver in San Francisco, according to San Francisco police.
The woman was crossing Bush Street when she was hit by a dark colored car. The driver did not stay at the scene and has not been found.
Police say they currently have no suspects or witnesses to the event. Second, the survivor or their family must report the hit and run to the appropriate police department and their must be a report filed.
For years now, I have been recommending that every person buy as high uninsured/underinsured limits as they can possibly afford because when the person who is at fault either flees the scene of an accident or if they do not have enough insurance to compensate for your injuries, you must rely on the provisions in your own insurance policy to help financially compensate you.
